History of Neroli oil

During 17th century, princess of Nerola, Anne Marie Orsini, duchess of Bracciano, introduced the quintessence of bitter orange tree for its fragrance. It was used to perfume her bath and her gloves. It was then the termed “Neroli” came into existence to describe its essence. Neroli oil, thus, obtained has a distinctive, refreshing and sweet aroma.
