Vernacularly known as wild bergamot or bee balm, Monarda Fistulosa is a member of mint or Lamiaceae family. The wildflower is native to North America and blooms pink flowers during summers. It grows up to 3ft in height and harvested in dry fields.

Monarda essential oil is prepared by the process of steam distillation of the flowers of bee balm tres and has characteristics similarity to Lavender flower. The oil has rich content of anti-fungal and anti-bacterial qualities that make it ideal for perfume making and medicinal purposes.
