Myrrh Absloute is a kind of absloute oil and is also known as Jasmine sambac oil or Lover’s body oil. Myrrh is obtained from Commiphora myrrha tree which has extended belts all over Kenya. Absloute oil is made from the gum of Myrrh tree through steam distillation. The aromatic tree of Myrrh is a small thorny tree which typically grows in dry and stony soils. Myrrh absloute oil is rich, balsamic and has smoky aroma with earthy and bitter odor. It has ability to restore, purify, revitalize and uplift. The reddish brown paste of Myrrh absloute is soluble in alcohols and other essential oils but it is insoluble in water.
