Costmary is a beautiful plant which was taken from its inhabitant home of India and bought to Asia Minor. Later, it was carried to majority of Europe and other parts of the world. At present, this plant is mostly found in the wild state in urban settlements. Small daisy-like flowers with white ray petals are found on the costmary plant. It is a kind of herb especially known for its minty smell and astringent taste. It grows about 12 inches tall with gray and green shaded long feathery leaves.
